Our Mission

Our mission is to nurture confident, curious, and emotionally intelligent children through holistic learning in nature.

Nature • Exploration • Community

Our vision is to cultivate a generation of young people who are deeply connected to nature, grounded in community, and equipped to thrive academically, socially, emotionally, and physically in an ever-changing world.

About Us

Nestled in the heart of the Sierra de Cádiz, in the historic pueblo blanco of Arcos de la Frontera, our school is more than a place, it’s a place with presence. Surrounded by rolling hills, olive groves, and the Rio Guadalete, this landscape inspires deep curiosity and connection with the natural world every day. Here, children move freely between open skies, shaded groves, and cobblestone pathways where learning is grounded both in nature and culture.

We are proud to welcome families from across the globe who choose to worldschool here and turn this area into their HOME, drawn by the rich traditions of Andalusia, the warmth of this community, and the freedom for their children to flourish outside conventional walls.

Our educators are internationally certified through the Forest School Teacher Institute (FSTI) — a respected global programme training teachers in child-centred, nature-based education — and through recognised bosque escuela accreditation, affirming our commitment to best practices and professional standards in outdoor learning.

In a school where child-led, play-based, holistic learning is central, we ensure that every child has the space to explore their interests deeply, build emotional intelligence, and grow at a pace suited to their developmental needs. With intentionally small group sizes and low ratios, we offer focused support and guidance tailored to each child academically, physically, socially, and creatively.

This model of education feels and looks different because it is different. Grounded in nature, community, curiosity, and the belief that learning is most powerful when it emerges from a child’s own exploration, wonder, and purpose.

Our Story

Our Forest School began with a simple but powerful question: What kind of education truly honours childhood?

During the Covid-19 pandemic, we witnessed how quickly children’s natural needs — movement, connection, fresh air — were restricted. Yet one thing was clear: outdoors was where children were safest, calmest, and most themselves.

That realization led us to look deeper.

With a background in Neuroscience and a focus in child development We began exploring research into alternatives for a healthy and thriving development. There we came accross the Forest school model for the first time and how this approach has been impacting positively children. The model aligned with the evidence which consistently showed that children thrive when they are trusted, when learning is experiential, and when emotional wellbeing is given as much importance as academic outcomes, giving them skills that cannot be acquired in an indoor setting.

Inspired by our firstborn son we chose to build a spaced based on this evidence, aligned with our values and that would offer a memorable childhood.

Our educational philosophy is rooted in child-led, play-based learning & inquired based learning. Children are naturally curious, capable, and wired to learn through exploration. Rather than directing every moment, we observe, guide, and support.

We place strong emphasis on emotional intelligence and holistic development — nurturing confident, resilient children who understand their feelings, respect others, take healthy risks, and develop a deep connection to the natural world.

This school was created with intention:
To protect childhood.
To honour individuality.
To allow learning to unfold organically, outdoors, and in community.

This is not simply education outside.
It is education designed around the whole child.

If you are looking for an environment where your child is seen, heard, and trusted, you are in the right place.
